Dr. Sonia J. Arthur

Sonia J. Arthur is a PhD student in Computer Science at Boston University with a strong interest in machine learning, natural language processing, and responsible applications of AI in high-impact domains.

Her work sits at the intersection of research, policy, and public good. She is especially interested in how data-driven systems can support more thoughtful decision-making in areas such as healthcare, communication, and digital equity.

Before beginning doctoral study, she completed her MPhil at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, building a foundation in research design, technical communication, and interdisciplinary problem-solving.
